Wild Man Ted is also known as the Video Game Theologian.  He blogs about his two greatest interests – the study of God and the playing of video games.  He is both a seminary student and a gamer.  You never know what game or subject we will talk about on the Wild Man Ted – Video Game Theology blog.

Ted has his name up in lights

Ted Loring has been working with children for more than twenty years.  He is Technology Manager at Anuvia Prevention and Recovery Center and is also a student at Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary.  He has been participant in the children’s program at Forest Hill Church where he is a storyteller in a large group setting.

Ted’s love for technology and video games started as soon as he saw the Atari 2600 at Robbie Foster’s house when he was a kid.  The glow of  the game Combat from the television screen beckoned him to come and play.  He will never forget that feeling and he will never outgrow it.

Ted lives in McAdenville, NC (Christmastown USA) with his wife, Shelia and his German Shepherd Dog, Dagny.  His son, Nathan, is a student at Savannah College of Art and Design.  Video games don’t compare to the excitement of real life – So Ted regularly spends time outdoors hiking, kayaking, and jogging.

  1. Hi Ted. I’m looking for another copy of “Peanut butter between my toes “! Anymore copies? I worked with you at the CDC.

    • I know what you are talking about but no, I don’t have anything like that. I’ve seen one or two at various yard sales. I know that there are reproductions being made today (if you are not looking for an original). You should be able to find a working game without too much trouble. Thanks Mr. Wilson for your comment!
